Gucci Opens New Luxury Online Flagship Store

Luxury brand Gucci has unveiled its brand new online presence with innovative feautures that promise to impress the site’s monthly 2.5 million unique visitors with rich content and social networking features that integarate with Facebook and Twitter.

The new site has been the result of an 18-month architectural renovation under the direction of Gucci’s Creative Director Frida Giannini. The revamped site promises an “aesthetic and customer-oriented experience that replicates the one they have when entering a Gucci signature flagship store in Rome, New York, London or Shanghai.”

The new site has been unveiled only a month after Gucci presented their hip new iPhone application “Mix It Up” which mixes lifestyle, fashion, music, video, news, playlists and events to bring a new world of fashionable excitement to your iPhone or iPod.
